MSE development support for sustainable forest management in Georgia

Project term: 01.02.2023-31.01.2025

Within the project the German Sparkassenstiftung, in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, provides an opportunity for interested individuals to improve their entrepreneurial skills in the direction of wood and non-wood forest products and eco-tourism, through a free training course.

The target regions of the project are:

  • Kakheti
  • Guria
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti

The intensive course offered within the framework of the project is aimed at acquiring theoretical knowledge about entrepreneurship and strengthening business skills. Training includes practical assignments and business simulations. The training course covers the following topics:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Financial literacy (budgeting, analysis of income and expenses, relations with financial institutions, risk management)
  • Tax and legal issues
  • Marketing, branding and e-commerce
  • Creating a business plan
  • Practical business tasks
