All our projects are financed from interest revenues on German Sparkassenstiftung’s equity capital, donations from the Sparkassen Finance Group and, to a large extent, from donor organisations.

The Federal Republic of Germany is committed to sustainable development in the sense of the 2030 Agenda against hunger and poverty, for peace, freedom, democracy and human rights, for education and health care, for a fair organisation of globalisation and for climate protection and the preservation of the environment.

The projects “Socio-ecological transformation”, “Rural development”, “Rural finance”, “Responsible finance” and “Financial training for youth” are funded by BMZ.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was founded in 1991. They are working to further progress towards market-oriented economies and the promotion of private and entrepreneurial initiative.

The project "Women in Business” is funded by EBRD.

With over 50 years of experience, GIZ works in various areas such as economic development, energy, environment, and peace.

The projects "Access to finance, phase I and phase II", "Small-scale energy-efficiency solutions", "Sustainable forest management" and "Financial literacy for rural population" are funded by GIZ.
